It's Walk to School Week!

Children in our FS2 classes will be having their vision screening tests today.

We have a theatre group in this afternoon presenting a show to our Year 6 children on the dangers of fire. This has been organised by Shropshire Fire Service.

Important diary dates this week:?

Tennis coach Mike Markham will be in on Tuesday and Friday mornings working with our Year 1 children.

The next part of our Family Learning course begins on Tuesday afternnoon.

Having won the local heats, our Rugby team will be travelling to Worcester on Wednesday to play in the regional round of matches.

A small group of Year 3/4 children will be at The Marches on Wednesday morning taking part in a tennis tournament.

Councillor Martin Bennett, Mayor of Oswestry, will be in school on Thursday morning presenting Jubilee medals to the children.

We are holding a meeting in our main hall at 6.00 on Thursday for the parents/carers of the children going on the Year 6 residential educational visit to North Yorkshire.

The music played in our assemblies this week is Shallow Brown performed by Richard Hawley.

The focus of our Festival Display is currently Ascension Day and Pentecost.

Do you need after school childcare? Our Start Early Learning and Childcare Centre now offers places to children up to the age of eleven years. We also offer whole and part day care during the school holidays and half terms. Please contact Claire or Cerys on 01691-676323 for more details.

You can access NumberGym at www.numbergym.co.uk. Once you are into the site, click on the Schools Online link and then click on Woodside School.
