Woodside Primary School Oswestry……… a good place to be

Friday 6th March 2015

All parents/carers should have received a copy of our latest Ofsted inspection report on Monday. It will be available on the Ofsted website from Friday 6th March.

Our KS2 choir will be taking part in the KS2 Singing Festival to be held at St Martins School today.

As part of our World Book Day celebrations, all classes in the Early Years, KS1 and Year 3/4 have been visiting Booka, Oswestry’s brilliant independent bookshop, this week so that they can spend their WBD book tokens.  Claire Davies’ Year 2 class, a FS1 group and Natalie Greatbatch’s Year 1 class will visit today.

Staff from Booka will be school this afternoon so that the children in Year 5/6 can spend their WBD tokens.

The theme of our assemblies is Family.

The music played in our assemblies this week is Hard Times, Come Again No More by James Taylor, Yo-Yo Mar, Edgar Meyer and Mark O’Connor.
